Old school

My brother has borrowed my DSLR for a couple of weeks, he's taking photos at a friends wedding and wants a bank up - good luck to him! I would be taking it to the Goodwood festival of speed on Sat, now I have to adapt. I have an old film SLR, two in fact. This is a photo of one taken through the eye-piece of the second with 50mm lens attached. I've ordered some film and looking forward to going back in time on Saturday. I think film will have some advantages, not least the size of the viewfinder - it is HUGE compared to that on my DSLR. And being forced to take less photos, really think about each photo rather than taking 10 and choosing the best. I've looked at developing the film myself too, maybe not so difficult. Take photos with film, develop at home then scan the negatives, this could get addictive. We'll find out on Saturday.
