Gadwall Joins Those At Pond

Today a lone gadwall duck flew in to the pond, or at least that is what I think it is.  It is rather strange to see them in the pond, and it was rather a surprise...I had to actually look twice :)  As you can see it rained throughout the day...we are finally getting a bit of rain, but the forecast is for sunshine AGAIN!  I'm not complaining, but it is almost the end of October.
