Raindrops on roses

A bit of cliche I know, but what the heck.

We had rain yesterday afternoon, last night, and showers on and off today.  It's very welcome.

And I'm on a bit of a flower kick at the moment.  Seems appropriate somehow.

I heard a couple of days back that a friend from years past had lost his battle with cancer, and he was only 49.  He was half of a married couple who were true soul mates.
