Oriental Poppy

Not working today so was able to have lunch with an old friend and my sister, and children.
We were able to eat in the garden as it wasn't raining which was great. It was lovely to see and hear the bumble bees buzzing in and out of the poppy flowers. My neice aged 4 was interested in the dark purple pollen.
Although called Oriental Poppies they originate from the Caucasus, North Eastern Turkey and Northern Iran, not the orient.
