What a day!

Started this morning with me getting ready to go to Lydney, 22 miles from Gloucester, after walking the dogs.
I took my spectacles off to put my helmet on and put them on my saddlebag. All set and off I go and after about 5 miles realised I'd forgotten to pick up my specs and put them in my pocket! Yes, they weren't there. 
Continued on to Lydney and had a very good Gloucestershire Poppy Appeal launch, main and extra photo, and got back home at 13:30. Walked along the road to see if I could find the glasses and I did, as I expected they were at the first roundabout, see the other extra photo.

Went off to Lidl to get some of their delicious rolls then back to have lunch.
Biked it to the school to pick up Lennon and found Joanne was there as well, she'd finished work early to pick him up. So I took Lennon home but Joanne had to walk as I was on the bike!

Then sanded and put a first coat of paint on both garage doors, see yet another extra photo! Left a little bit so you could see the old colour and the fact that they were really being painted!

Yes, it's been quite a day!
