Calm evening......

After a hot windy day it was lovely to stroll through my garden in the calm of the evening. Fragrance hung in the air, quiet murmurs from nearby neighbours drifted over the fence, sunlight touched the upper branches of my tall Black Beech tree which revealed tiny red flowers, no larger than 1cm.

The sunset was a disappointment and looks as though there is a chill in the air but really it was refreshing and pleasant.

It had been a busy day visiting R who had his bag packed ready for an escape! Sadly mum and I left him in his muddled state as he was beyond reasoning with, thankfully he's in good care.

My only shot which brought a sense of calm in a world of chaos as it appears at times.
