Satellite dishes
Walking down this old street in Eastney I couldn't help noticing that just about everybody had a satellite dish attached to the front of their house.
The other side of the street had none, but of course they would all be attached to the back of the house!
This is a street that survived WWII. When you walk around Eastney you will spot the odd terraced house that is different to the rest, that is because it was probably hit by a bomb in WWII and when they rebuilt it, the owners did it in a style of their own. Quite a few got hit, but this street seemed to get away without being hit.
