Through the gate

This is the lovely light on Whittington Castle field when I went there late this afternoon.

This evening I went the Wildlife Trust meeting where the subject was the latest version of The Shropshire Bird Atlas. It's sad how many different birds have declined or disappeared from the county since the surveys began.
