Railway relic

This cast iron fence post is a relic from the railway line that used to run along the north east Scottish coastline past Cruden Bay. Our walk today at The Bullars of Buchan provided wonderful images of the nesting seabirds, but the solitariness of this post had an impact on me, making it the more meaningful blip.
