Apple day...

I remembered it was 'apple day' today... and I had a tree full of 'core ..king' ideas in my head... which is where they stayed.  I bought a bag of apples... and popped them in a trug... that's as creative as I got...but you've gotta love a trug.. and they're generally underused! 
Book club this evening and a fine turn out.  I was one of only 2 people who actually finished the book however... (get me!) 'Go Set a Watchman'.   A huge disappointment, and although it was set after To Kill a Mocking Bird it was written before it but not released until recently.  A thumbs down from me.. and all of us - though a grand debate was had:. 
It's late... and I'm off up the apples and pears :)
