Thorpeness Beach. Thorpeness was once voted one of the weirdest villages in the UK, mainly because of it's rather strange history of ownership, the 'House in the Clouds' and the fact that it nestles next to the charming Sizewell nuclear power stations. However, apart from that it seemed perfectly normal to me, and the beach is lovely. I took this shortly after being narrowly missed by a falling kite.
