The Rosebud and the Aphid
We have been to Cambridge today for an Addenbrookes appointment, but for lunch, in John Lewis before the appointment. As usual the clinic was running late and for a 1420 hours appointment we were not out of there until after 1600 hours; more tests for Mr A, but not much else happening.
This morning we had seventeen (I think) Mallards in the garden waiting to be fed, including, the orphans and the family with the odd black and white half-grown ducklings. We also had another family with nine ducklings as well as some assorted males and females. I took some pictures before we went out and took some more when we came home, but I have decided on this red Rose bud complete with green aphid trapped in a web.
