......because the model would be knocking on 70 now ;-) Taken back in the early 70's when Whitley Bay's seafront municipal toilets (that's them in the background) were still a going concern and not (supposedly, according to the slow-moving Council) going to be converted into a cafe to replace the (well used by locals and visitors right up to when the wrecking ball arrived) one they demolished nearly 2 years ago which stood opposite......you couldn't make it up........
