Cast

Today I went to hospital to have a suspected ganglion removed from my thumb. This mostly consisted of sitting around at hospital waiting for things to happen. It was mostly painless and rather tedious. The worst bit was having the sticky removed from where the anaesthetic needle was held in place....

It turned out to not be a ganglion and because it was more serious I had more bits removed and I now have a cast rather than a plain bandage... So I can't use my right hand for quite a while now...!

I'm now on a nice mixture of opiates and paracetamol so I've no pain, but I am rather bored and a little sleepy!
