Road trip - day 12

HOME...........................

Early morning walk in the woods with Alfie (the bearded collie) and his little spaniel friends, Tess & Teddy (see extras).

............Then it was into the car for the long drive home.

Won’t even mention the fact that we stopped at a Farm Shop where Ann bought two very expensive sausage rolls for her tea.  Won’t even mention the fact that when she was busy unloading the car, she left the bag that the very expensive sausage rolls were in; in the kitchen.  Won’t even mention the fact that when she’d finished unloading the car there was only the sausage roll packaging left...........................  (See extras for my guilty look).  Won’t even mention the fact that I’ve been banished to my bed!!!

Stopped off at Weston-Super-Mare so that I could have another long walk & a good run on the beach.  And fortunately Ann decided to pop into a dog friendly cafe and have fish & chips for lunch because she’s got nothing for tea now?!!

Anyway, we’ve had a fabulous time on our ‘road trip’.......................................

In the last 12 days we’ve driven more than 1,500 miles and have walked more than 115 miles.  We won’t even mention how much wine Ann’s drank!
