Mumbai day 2

Mumbai, where one day felt like two today. Most students had very little sleep due to our late arrival and woke early to go to the gym together.
At 9 am the D Y Patil school bus picked us up to take us to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya museum. With the help of audio guides we learned a lot about Indian art history.
After spending a couple of hours in the calm of the museum we took the schoolbus again to the Golden Star restaurantt for a Thali lunch. After a grand lunch we all needed a little lie down. Thankfully there was some room in the schedule for some down time in the hotel.
After a rest, which for some was very hard to get awake from, we travelled (on the school bus) to Worli Inteenational School for the firt part of the film making workshop: how to go about documenting our trip.
At 6pm we left for the residence of the Govani family, who invited is for dinner and to participate in the Dussera Puja ceremony. For some of us a ritual that has been celebrated many times before, for others a first introduction to the Hindi traditions and believes. We all felt incredibly honoured to be allowed to not only witness, but participate.
By 10 pm we are all back at the hotel, very tired and full of new impressions (and food)!
So much done, so many things to see and experience!
