Welcome to Oaxaca

We arrived late last night at the airport in Oaxaca, choosing to fly from Mexico City instead of taking the bus as we have done in years past. We awoke this morning to the pitter patter of rain, which is always a welcome sound because water is relatively scarce here. 
This evening we were treated to this beautiful rainbow, a band passing by, and fireworks! Ahhhh.... Mexico.
