Let the train take the strain ...

We took  the train from Joppa to the Cotswolds - with two smooth changes. Door to door the train, I estimated, took the same time as the plane, if you allow for having to be at the airport two hours before take off.
I will test this theory on the return trip when we come back by plane. NB The train is twice as expensive as the plane!

It was lovely to be met at the station by our eldest grandson on his third birthday and to go to his house for the best third birthday party EVER!
