It's finally started

After what seems like years of planning and sorting out various insurance matters, work on our kitchen has finally started. We got back from Ireland yesterday to a house in a complete mess. A new opening has been formed in the wall between the kitchen and the dining room and all our old kitchen was completely stripped out. Today the first of the carcasses for the new units were installed.

There's a blanket of dust over the whole house and we have no proper cooking facilities but we're just pleased it's finally underway. It'll probably be going on for weeks so it's going to be a long haul, and it will no doubt feature in many blips over the coming weeks.
