Leaf Pile

This was one of those magical nights as a parent.  We went to the park in the evening, as a family.  Quite unplanned, we ended up piling up the leaves of a maple tree and this little Apple had an amazing time in the first leaf pile she could remember.  She kept asking, "Can you make more pile for me?"  She laughed and laughed and laughed.  She ran, jumped, kicked, and laid down in the pile.  She loved it and it was just pure JOY to watch.  I wish I could feel that way about something like a leaf pile again...but watching her feel it is pretty damn close.
