Flies

This was a last-minute photo. I was looking at the possibilities of late season dahlias in the waning light, and then there was this tiny fly and I figured that would be more interesting than just a plain pink flower. But when I looked at the screen it got more interesting--two flies for the price of one, very intent on their evening date. I was so surprised to see two--at first I thought it was just camera movement and some kind of strange double exposure, but then I realized what I was looking at. They were really tiny flies. And that's why I love Blip! Another journey down some unexpected path, another part of my world illuminated.
