Gloster Javelin
Gloucestershire Airport had an open day yesterday so I wandered down seeing as its only a mile away. Also knew some of the guys working there through my airshow volunteering. They work for a museum which is about to be built to house aircraft from the Gloster aircraft company. I know Gloucester ss spelt like this don't worry, they changed the name of the company in the 30s so that foreign buyers could pronounce it ha!
This one is a Gloster Javelin intercepter from the 50s / 60s. Looks amazing even now.
Didn't notice the little chap underneath it when taking the shot but he reminds me of myself at that age when it came to planes :-)
