The Ginkgo Avenue

Hokkaido University campus is a wonderful place to enjoy the changing seasons. In autumn, people come to the campus from far and wide to ramble under the autumn leaves. The Ginkgo Avenue is particularly well-known for its stunningly yellow leaves.

Today the avenue was full of tourists and photographers owing to the lovely weather. This weekend will be dreich according to the weather forecast. It might even snow on Sunday. So today may have been the best day to see the avenue.
