Fresh air

Back home and the air is very fresh!  So fresh, that part of the (re-roofed) greenhouse roof, was thumping in the breeze yesterday...a bit of a shock to the system after the weather for the previous month :(  I went out to check this morning, and it is still there, which is a relief, but needs some attention.

I was surprised to see these chicks in the garden today, as the plan was for them, & the mother, to be rehomed while I was away.  I have to say, I'm pleased to see them still here.  She does produce very pretty chicks.
