Civita is a town in the Pollino Mountains, Calabria. It's one of a number of settlements set up and inhabited by "old Albanians" (Albanese in Italian/Arberesh in OLD Albanians) who came to Italy before the Turkish invasion. They are Orthodox Christians and modern Albanians understand little of their language
