Abundance

Today's blip is a rather interesting find from the school playground this morning. Have been trying all day to find out what this is with no luck so if anybody can shed any light on this I'd be very grateful.

I thought they were quite pretty and love the way the buds on each open up as it grows. I honestly have no idea if it's a plant or a flower but have to admit to being very intrigued.

School's out for half term now so looking forward to a week of lie ins and days filled with nature walks, autumn leaves and maybe a hot chocolate or two (am just praying it doesn't rain).
