My current needlepoint WIP

With Belle keeping an eye on me.

My arthritic left knee had started "clicking" a while ago, so it was time to see the orthopedist for my 6-month injection (Synvisc-One). It had been two years since the last x-rays, so new ones were taken. Bad news...my knee has gotten considerably worse since then. One day, I will need a knee replacement surgery. Not something I wanted to hear, but unlike lumbar fusion surgery, knee replacement surgery does have a pretty good record of being successful, so I try not to think about the future too much.
