Autumn Splendour

Following a few days where it feels like I've been rather stuck indoors it was brilliant to get out today for a leisurely walk with M and B.  We walked along the canal and river starting at Wolverton and ended up in Stony Stratford.   We had a rather nice lunch at The Crown, and the bacon and brie sandwich was delicious! 
Although it was overcast, the leaf colours were glowing beautifully...is it me or has autumn been particularly pretty this year?
