The view from my walk

Instead of walking on the road..which was muddy from rain, I walked up on the hill along an old fence line (just as muddy!) and then came down the hill when I was close to this fenced in hay storage corral.   The ranchers here will move the cows up on the mountain acreage in the spring and sometimes the weather will turn and bring  a late snow..then they use this hay to supplement the feed until the snow melts.

Life is really hard for cattle ranchers.  I salute them for doing the job they do.
