Venice Sunset

Retuned our hire car to its resting place today and headed in to Venice. We were met off our water bus by Gigi - a man of few words and the owner of the apartment I had booked through Airbnb. I was a bit nervous about what to expect but it turned out really well - just right for us, enough space, great location, and wifi for the teenager.
We were way too excited at the site of many canals, gondolas and fabulous buildings! Enjoyed dodging through the little streets and following vague signs that did eventually get us to the right places - Rialto ... San Marco. We were treated to a fabulous sunset which left us with a very chilly evening and wondering if we had enough warm clothes with us - having left most of our luggage at the airport earlier.
