In the fading afternoon light,
California Condor #2 gazes into Marble Canyon.
She’s young. Some might call her immature at 2 years old.
Her black head won’t turn bright and colorful for about 4 more years.
She hangs with #54 and #H9.
An adult pair of condors produces only one chick every other year. So each youthful bird is a source of pride to Condor Restoration.
A bright future ahead for #2.
