ups and downs

Life is a funny thing isn't it. It has so many ups and downs. Today has had painful moments - bad news from two separate friends regarding their health. Master Pink has had utterly horrible 6 year old moments. But on the flipside, we've celebrated my Godson's 6th birthday, and enjoyed singing and laughter at Edward Bear, smelled the lavender and watched the bumblebees playing.
With my stupid brain that doesn't work properly I don't always get the balance right, and the bad stuff overwhelms the good stuff, but I think when you have bad news, the best thing to do is just savour those cuddles that little bit more.
