The Pannier For Life seems keen on fouling the wheel when carrying anything less rigid than a few boxes of cereal, but for smaller loads it works well when clamped onto the opposite side of the rack whence it dangles. I shall definitely replace the Vaude QMR hooks with the cheaper/lighter hooks from the Union34 bag and keep the Vauden for the big double-pannier or the longer-term rucksack-pannierification project.
