Dutch Village

We were all woken early by upstairs again.  There was nothing else for it but to get up and go out  for a run.  Another lovely morning though chillier than it has been.  We bade farewell to granny and grandad who headed home this morning.  We then headed to the bakers and the beach, where I sustained football injury number two – a quad strain.  I am definitely no footballer.  BB wasn’t happy that we had to stop.  We had an early lunch and headed off in the direction of St Andrews, ending up at Craigtoun  Park.  The sun was out and it was quite warm.  I first went to Craigtoun Park when I was a child on Sunday School picnics.  A bus load of kids and parents spending the afternoon there taking part in races and getting fed on sausage rolls and juice.

Anyway enough reminiscing!  I believe it was closed for years but is now in the care of a trust.  There is a great playpark which BB loved.  We also played crazy golf. We then wandered round and he played on both the child and the adult trim trails, before we went back to the playpark. We had a lovely afternoon.  Tayport was our next brief stop to kill a bit of time before we picked TT up at Leuchars Station.  It was then home for curry and a programme about indie bands.  We know how to live on the edge!

Here is the Dutch Village at Craigtoun Park.
