APPLE - AAARRGH!

I haven't done much blipping lately as I've been trying to sort out my Apple Aperture library. In their infinite wisdom, Apple have decided to replace their photo editing software, Aperture with Photos. Unfortunately, Photos isn't a patch on Aperture as far as editing and cataloging is concerned. So, I've been looking towards Adobe Lightroom which seems to be the industry standard and looks like an excellent piece of software. However, the main problem with Lightroom is that it doesn't import any of the editing work done on Aperture.

I'm going through my large library of images, culling duplicates and duffers and still trying to decide my next course of action!
