The Heron on the Weir

Seen at Burley - in - Wharfedale in the late afternoon,
this weir originally provided power to the adjacent Greenholme Mill and in recent years the power has
been harvested again by the introduction of a
hydroelectric scheme. The interests of the heron
are unaffected and this is still the ideal place to shop
for supper !
