Entry to a woodland walk

Lovely colours showing in the woodland walk. We popped to Exeter to do a spot of shopping, and then back to daughters for a cup of tea, and a piece of Birthday Cake. (It is a big birthday for hubby on Monday!!) There were some army vehicles in Exeter City Centre to mark the start of the Poppy Appeal, - so I have put one photo in the extras. (Sorry it seems to have turned itself on its side - wh, I don't know!)
These woods are very near them - on the Powderham Estate. One of these days, we will get to have a walk there.
