The view to Vue
I was up on the roof today - the first time in 22 years living here. I resisted the temptation to blip the castle but noted a reasonable view for firework viewing. There are a fantastic variety of modern buildings including the banana flats and the scottish office.
I also used a shunt.
The roofing guide shifted the obstacle from the bend in the gutter pipe. Then we had a cup of coffee, noting the unavailability for instant coffee for tradesmen these days and then talking about climbing and ski touring.
Then I got in the middle and formed a triangle of discontent that I was supposed to manage. I managed not to for a while, then probed, and found out (and I hope it is true) that my disguised message (I'm not brave enough to be blunt in a conflict, which caused another conflict) had been understood.
