Wheatear

Had a good visit with lozarithm to Kimmeridge Bay, really to look at the Anthony Gormley sculpture. We knew it had fallen over but unfortunately we didn't see it at all (couldn't find it? gone under the tide? taken away for restoration? we don't know).

However, it's a really dilghtful place and I particularly enjoyed seeing this handsome and confiding wheatear. It was big and bright as well as being rather tame so I'm pretty sure it was of the Greenland race. Long way for a little bird to travel each year - Greenland to Africa and back.
