Spray
Change of plan today. We'd intended to get up early to go down to Newcastle, and then continue on to Hadrians Wall, but none of us found it very easy to get out of bed. After quite a late night, I slept very little due to a blocked nose, and MrM and I were disturbed during the night by Loiue.
So, instead, we decided on a trip down to Alnwick for some lunch and a wander round, followed by a walk on Alnmouth beach. After a grey damp start to the day, this afternoon was blue-sky clear. The sun was shining on to the lighthouse on Coquet Island and the sea spray seemed to sparkle.
Exactly a year ago we came to Wooler to view the flat for the first time. A lot seems to have happened since then...
