Lapwings cowering in the grass
Normally showy birds, today the Lapwings were hiding in the grass hoping that the wind wouldn't lift them up unexpectedly. The wind has moved around to the east a little which means it has become cold.
A good evening however with a concert in the local almost unpronounceable and totally unspellable Arts Centre. All traditional fiddles, bagpipes, voices and accordians but great fun - if not perhaps a little long. On then to the Westford Inn to resample the beer. After copious such sampling one is pleased to report that the quality has been maintained.
