Life's one big yawn

Well,  it's a long way from the Rock of Gibraltar to  the middle of Scotland for a troop of macaque monkeys.

But its a happy ending for them because the alternative would have been  a lethal injection for they had become a nuisance to their home  town. 

So our local safari park, Blair Drummond ,  acquired them and a few weeks ago  opened a new  monkey reserve. ( The opening had to be delayed because the monkeys kept escaping and they had to build higher fences).

So I popped along in the hope of getting some good photos. ( see extra).  It was not to be. The monkeys  were too busy foraging for food to sit around . 
And it fell to the lions to be my photo of the day.
