When Saturday comes

I wished I could've gone to the game today, Saintees were in town today, but the weather was so unpredictable, I thought I better not push my luck.
The away end at ICT's ground is not the place to sit and watch football if a high westerly wind and rain is forecast.
As it turned out, the weather was ok for the game, but by the time I could be sure, it was too late to go down to the ground.
It's raining now, but it was fine earlier
