Green Doors
TT is away with work again so I was on football duty today. Thankfully it was late morning, so I didn’t have to be up too early – and I wasn’t! It was raining though and I wasn’t looking forward to it. We drove over to North Berwick for the match and it did brighten up and the rain went off. They played well, but I was glad when it was over as I was frozen. I should have worn a warmer coat and more importantly gloves. We came home for lunch and to thaw out!
Later in the afternoon we ended up in Dunbar and had a walk round the coast and harbour, via two playparks. We gazed over the water beyond the Bass Rock and the Isle of May to the Fife Coast, trying to spot Crail. BB’s highlight was an eat all you can bramble feast on our walk!
I made BB do his cello practice when we got in – he wasn’t very keen. We’ve had a quiet evening and I am looking forward to an extra hour in my bed.
In other news I have caught up with my back blips. Check out our week in the East Neuk from here onwards.
I spotted this when I popped to the supermarket. I like the colours. I have never noticed these doors before, but they have clearly been there for a long time!!
