Acer
We went to the National Arboretim at Westonbirt with J and C, who took the day off. The weather was a bit mixes with a mixture of overcast and the occasional bright spell and a couple of light showers. It was quite dark for photography, but was still spectacular. The prices go up in the autumn, but that makes sense as there are heaps of people there, The main attraction is the collection of Japanese Maples that tun to vibrant colours from yellow to red and on to purple, The main blip is of a part of a red acer and the extras of fungus by an old rotting tree, and an acer with a full range of leaf tones. It was worth the visit and entrance of £9.
