Trio
Waves at Sandy Beach were coming up. We first saw them as dark colours moving across the ocean, as they neared shore, they began to form peaks and roll in, sometimes the whole length of the beach, one crest. Then we saw a backwash rolling back and throwing spray high. While watching, a rainbow appeared for a few minutes off to the left (the waves are dwarfed by the soaring expanse of rainbow). Extra 1.
This trio is on a smaller backwash wave. Both guys on the end are falling as the wave rears up under them, and the guy inside the wave is ready to push up when it clears.
Extra 2 is titled "Look everyone, no hands!" and gives a better idea of the waves further out.
We stayed til dark, such fun.
Hurricane Olaf is moving NNE away from us, and diminishing in strength, altho sending this increase in surf. Hurricane Patricia is now creating flood damage in Mexico.
