Not as Planned

I thought I'd have a wealth of beautiful autumn images, gathered at our farmers' market, from which to choose my blip today, but instead, I bring you... strawberries.

They're local -- the farmer who grows them said she puts blankets over the plants at night to protect them from the near-frost temperatures -- and delicious, but say "summer" to me, not "autumn"! 

My choices were limited because after taking five or six photos at the market, the battery warning on my camera flashed -- and for the first time this season, I'd forgotten to bring an extra battery with me, or a back-up camera. I've been delving deeply into genealogy this week, so much so that I sometimes feel as if I'm living in two worlds, and I suspect that had something to do with my forgetfulness today. 

I'll try to be more focused and less forgetful next week!
