Free Salmon BBQ!

Hard to turn down free food when it's barbecued wild salmon from Desire Fish! And there was music and circus performers.

Bob Gudmunson and his wife Melinda Sweet, fishers and co-owners of Desire Fish, fish for salmon in Alaska each summer.They process their catch and sell it off their boat in Squalicum harbor during the off-season. They organized this event today "as a gift to the community in honor of our connection to the wild salmon".

I don't know how they did it but they were able to live with their three children on a 37-foot fishing boat.
