of water relief from the heat - reflecting a small purple flower nearby...

relief is what's needed here in the rocky mountains... we are setting records for hot temperatures - in the hundreds the last couple of days... and it's so very dry with no rain, fires have broken out - one just about 10 miles away in a local canyon... known for its beautiful running trails and wilderness - so far it's 0% contained with over 3,400 acres burned... no homes or people have been in jeopardy yet so that's a blessing - but it's truly a tragedy... the smoke over the city is making it difficult to breathe - casting a grayish hue over everything - while the fire itself is causing the clouds to glow a slighty odd orange...

please pray for our brave firefighters - other men and women, too - who are assisting in containing this devestation to the land - attempting to protect as much as possible - continuing to contribute to making it...
