Derelict Sunday - rusting train

This was taken at the Mt. Barker rail yards in the Adelaide Hills. I knew this yard well in my youth as we lived not too far away. The yard does have one fully restored steam engine as part of its Steam Ranger tourist train. It also has many derelict carriages and engine parts left over.

The yard was surrounded by a high fence topped with barbed wire. No doubt to limit graffiti attacks. I took this shot by holding the camera above my head, and aimed between the strands of barbed wire. It took a few shots to get the framing correct.
